Tester's guide
Thank you for helping to test the site before launch. In short: what this site is, what to check and where to write.
1What this site is
The site looks for profitable trade-up contracts at Steam Market prices. Prices are collected on the server on a schedule, and crafts are recalculated after every collection. For every craft you can see what to buy and with which float, what can drop and with what chance, and how much comes back after the Steam 15% fee.
The site calculates but never buys or sells anything: every deal is your decision. The site never asks for passwords or Steam Guard codes — don't share them with anyone, neither in the chat nor in private messages.
2The numbers are an estimate, not a promise
- Prices are as of the latest recalculation. When it happened is shown on the home page above the best crafts. Since then, lots may have been bought and prices may have moved.
- Profit is an average over many crafts. A single craft can give more or less. The share of outcomes that pay back the investment on their own is the «chance of profit».
- Before buying press «Check floats on Steam» on the craft page: the site looks at real listings and recalculates the profit.
- Marks «profit only from resale» and «profit on prices without sales» mean: the profit rests on selling items that may sell slowly or for less.
3What to check
- Home page: is it clear what this site is and where to click.
- Craft list: find a craft for your budget — filters, sort order, ready-made presets.
- Craft page: is it clear what to buy, which float to take and what can drop. Press «Check floats on Steam».
- Calculator: build your own set of items and see what comes out.
- Market: find a skin you know and look at its price chart.
- From a phone; in the dark and light theme (button in the header); in English (EN in the header).
Something unclear or a number looks odd — that is a bug too, write about it.
4How to report a bug
Write to whoever sent you the link to the site. So that the bug can be reproduced, attach:
- the page address — copy it from the address bar;
- what you did, what you expected and what you saw;
- a screenshot;
- phone or computer, and which browser.
5Made a real craft? Write it up using the template
This is the main test: do the site's numbers match real life. Copy the template into the beta chat and fill it in:
Even an unlucky craft helps: such reports show how honest the site's numbers are.
